Behind the Pink Ribbon - with Liza Gross

Pink ribbons have become synonymous with the fight against breast cancer, but the movement to “raise awareness” is often sponsored by corporations who would prefer not to raise awareness of the increased cancer risk linked to their products.

Then award-winning investigative reporter Liza Gross talks about her early days writing about the pink ribbon campaign and its corporate sponsors, how nothing much has changed, and how other countries may be showing us the path toward a better world.
