Why are we poisoning our kids? with Dr. Bruce Lanphear

Products with chemicals known to cause cancer, neurological damage, and other serious health problems line the shelves of stores across the country, and the incidence of childhood illness is rising rapidly.

In the news this week, Patti and Doug talk about the public’s failure to link weather events to climate change, and the release of information about the toxins at ground zero on 9/11. Then pediatrician and population medicine physician Dr. Bruce Lanphear talks about his career investigating the causes of childhood illness, including lead, pesticides, and chemicals found in our water, our air, and the products people buy and use every day.
